Muslim leader Imam Warith D. Mohammed passed away yesterday. He was 74. I am not old enough to speak heavily about Brother Mohammed history but I know that he was a intelligent, dedicated and wise leader. I pray ALLAH, the MOST GRACIOUS has Mercy on Imam Mohammed and BLESSES him with Paradise (Heaven) in the Next Life. We at the Wiggy Wack Weblog extend our prayers and condolences to family and friends of Imam Mohammed. From ALLAH we come and to ALLAH is our return! Ameen.

September 8th, 2008Posts By Wiggy WackToday is my first school day at JHG and I am very anxious to get started. I have been waiting too long- my own fault- to take my schooling seriously and to get it over with. I am finally ready to commit myself completely and wholeheartedly to my education and my schooling. If I could give one piece of advice to all of you it would be to never be lazy, procrastinate, or lie-to yourself or others. Because I have done these things I now have to pay the consequences for my actions. It is a blessing on us, human beings that the LORD gives us chances to make amends before it is too late. I pray it is not too late for me. ♥ Wiggy Wack.

September 2nd, 2008Islam, Posts By Wiggy WackBarbara, you left a question under my Islam page in regards to Muslim women wearing white. The answer to your question is, yes. A Muslim woman can wear any color she chooses as long as the garment she is wearing is modest. Actually white was the Prophet Muhammed’s favorite color. Muslims also wear white during their pilgimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia (Hajj). Thank you for your question Barbara and if you or any one else has any questions on Islam feel free to leave a comment, I will answer it as best as I can. And if I cannot answer your question myself I will refer you to someone who can.

September 2nd, 2008Islam, Posts By Wiggy WackRamadan Mubarak! Which means “Have a blessed Ramadan” in Arabic. Ramadan is the holy month observed by Muslims all around the world, in which we fast from dawn (Fajr) to just after sunset (Maghrib) until the end of Ramadan. It is a requirement on all Muslims except, the sick, the traveler, children, and the mentally disabled. Ramadan is meant to be a way to purify the fasting person physically, mentally, and spiritually. During the fasting period Muslims abstain from food and drink, sexual intercourse, vain talk, and any kind of indecency. Ramadan is meant to bring the Muslim closer to his LORD, ALLAH. WE pray more, give in charity more, and read one-thirtieth of the Qur’an each day. Ramadan also teaches self-restraint and gratitude, so we learn what people less fortunate have to go through each day.
So in this month of Ramadan let us all try harder than we regularly do to better ourselves towards the right way. Even if you are not Muslim there are a lot of things you can do to make yourself a better person. Remember, Ramadan is about taking the time out to get ourselves back on the Straight Path.
Peace and Ramadan Mubarak,
Wiggy Wack

September 2nd, 2008Posts By Wiggy WackPeace, my dedicated readers. Sorry it took me so long to make another post, but I’ve been quite busy. The past couple of weeks have been quite the same, except for one small change in the routine. School’s Back In Session! YEEEAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! It doesn’t matter if your a high school student or a college kid we’re all back in the books!I haven’t been studying the way I should have, but tomorrow I’m going to jump back into my schedule. Starting small and working in incremental steps until I have reached my goals of finishing both secondary school and college. Well, that’s it for this post. Peace!

September 2nd, 2008Posts By Wiggy Wack, SportsThe U.S. Open has been going on for about a week now and only three of the four players pictured above are still in the running. James Blake was ousted by the American, Mardy Fish. I was disappointed at Blake’s loss because he is a player I like. But it seems as if he doesn’t play hard enough.
But as long as Venus, Serena, and Nadal are still in I’ll be satisfied. And hopefully, Blake will do ten times better at the next Grand Slam. Wiggy Wack -
